From the judges: Clever title and branding back to the University. Good follow-up with the recording for those who cannot attend. Great cost per session and individual price per person. "The Executive Director is the face and voice of the attendees" = Nice touch.

Title of Entry: "1789 Seconds" - Georgetown Alumni Career Stories
About this Entry: To keep alumni connections strong during a time of social distancing, Georgetown University Alumni Career Services launched its “1789 Seconds” webinar series in July 2020. In ~1,789 seconds (just under 30 minutes), guest interviewees share their experiences on the Hilltop and how they forged career paths that are not necessarily linear or conventional. The series is hosted by Julia Farr, Executive Director of the Georgetown University Alumni Association; the title of the webinar series is a nod to Georgetown's founding year of 1789. The quick segments offer opportunities for attendees to hear from some of Georgetown's most interesting and inspirational alumni. Alumni featured in the lineup so far have included Andrew Jameson, lawyer turned Hollywood producer; Peter Hamby, Host of Snapchat's "Good Luck America;" and Lulu Garcia-Navarro, Host of NPR's "Weekend Edition Sunday." The series is managed by Sarah Smith, Senior Associate Director, Alumni Career Services, and it is run as part of the overall portfolio of ~50 live webinar broadcasts offered by Alumni Career Services on an annual basis. These webinars serve to generate 10,000+ alumni engagement touchpoints annually.
